For this project there was a black quartz applied followed by two coats of black epoxy coatings. The grit from the quartz gave this pool the look and feel of a concrete pool.
Prepping and creating a sump

First layer of fiber epoxy system
Application of fiberglass epoxy coat over entire pool.
Grind surface
Grind the entire surface, mark, and repair minor imperfections.
Existing pool fixtures
Pool fixtures will be integrated as part of the one piece fiberglass epoxy shell.
Thick coat
At this stage a thick epoxy coating is applied to blend seams and fill in imperfections.
Final product
Two coats of a 100% solids epoxy coating is used for the final coat.
